Camp Fires are Fun at Camp!
Registration and payment (payable to Women's Camp) are required by Tuesday, October 7.
Late registration may not be accommodated.
Check-In: Friday, October 10, 4 p.m. Please do not arrive early. Friday dinner is bring your own sandwich and the camp will provide homemade soup. Contributions of salads, desserts, snacks or other communal dishes are voluntary and always appreciated.
Check-Out: Monday, October 13, at 11 a.m., after breakfast and clean-up.
Meals: Camp will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday morning breakfast. Again, contributions of snacks, desserts or other communal dishes are voluntary and always appreciated! (YUM!).
ACCOMMODATIONS: There are three sleeping options available to campers: (1) your own pitched tent, (2) inside the Greene Lodge, or (3) in the Teaberry Platform Tent Unit. There is access to indoor bathrooms with hot showers for all campers.
Program: Fall walks will be on the agenda 🍂🥾along with making apple butter🍎🔥and quilling ✂️🌀📜. As always, there will be general arts and craft projects, singing, reading, relaxing, campfires, puzzles, cards, games, and whatever else you want to do! Camp Grounds and Area: Camp Laurel Wood is a 225-acre property with a 46-acre wildlife sanctuary and a large meadow in Spencer, MA. There is ample parking, a shower, a full kitchen, a fireplace, tables and chairs. Many onsite scenic trails add to the peace and tranquility of the camp.
PACKING TIPS: A heads up that some basic packing items to bring include a plate, bowl, cup, mug, water bottle, silverware, a dunk bag, and weather-appropriate clothing, including rain gear, warm layers and comfortable shoes. Also bring essential items like a sleeping bag (or sheets and blankets), a pillow, toiletries, towels, a flashlight, batteries, sunscreen, bug repellent, a day pack, a camp chair and any personal comfort items. Key clothing includes underwear, socks, tops, shorts, warm layers, slippers, sneakers, PJs, and a hat. Optional items might include a journal, books, art and craft supplies, a sewing machine, games, a puzzle, a camera, earbuds/headphones, a yoga mat, a musical instrument, a cot, an extension cord, a fan, and/or a lamp.
*Girl Scout Registration $30
Women's Camp participants are encouraged to register as an adult Girl Scout, which costs $30 per year. We ask you to do this because Women's Camp kindly gets a discount on campsite rentals from the various Girl Scout Councils in New England, for being an organization made up of adult Girl Scouts. Therefore, we encourage campers to register as adult Girl Scouts. Girl Scout Membership runs from Oct 1 to Sept 30. If you are not currently a registered adult Girl Scout, please register before Summer Camp. https://mygs.girlscouts.org/

- The Teaberry Tent Unit has six platform tents with cots. The tent unit has flush toilets and showers. There is also an open-air pavilion with electricity. Extension cords can be run for anyone needing electricity, specifically for a CPAP machine.
- Indoor sleeping space is available in Greene Lodge. Be advised that there are no individual bedrooms. This is one very large room for all those needing indoor space and it will be the same room we will use for activities. This large room has no cots, only mattresses - you are welcome to bring your own cot.
- You may pitch your own tent in the Teaberry Tent Unit. Please plan to secure your tent without stakes.
