SPECIAL REQUESTS: If you have a dietary, health, and/or physical need, you must note these needs in advance of Summer Camp via the Women's Camp registration form, which is due on or before August 15. On-site requests can not be guaranteed to be accommodated.

ACCOMMODATIONS: There are three sleeping options available to campers:
  1. Your own pitched tent
  2. Inside the EDC Lodge
  3. In the Whispering Pines Platform Tent Unit.

There is access to indoor bathrooms with hot showers for all campers. Please indicate your sleeping preference on the Women's Camp Registration Form.
Please also indicate the need for electricity on the registration form.
  • The Whispering Pines Tent Unit has eight platform tents with mattresses and cots. The tent unit features a bathroom with three flush toilets and two showers. There is also an open-air pavilion with electricity in the middle of the unit. Extension cords can be set up at the tents for anyone needing electricity for a CPAP machine.
  • Indoor sleeping space is available in the EDC building. Be advised that there are no individual bedrooms. This is one very large room for all those needing indoor space, and it will be the same room we will use for activities. This large room has no cots, only mattresses - you are welcome to bring your own cot.
  • You may pitch your own tent on the property! Please plan to secure your tent without stakes.

ACTIVITIES: Swimming, kayaking, canoeing, arts and crafts, reading, relaxing, hiking, low-impact aerobics, singing, puzzling, campfires, shopping, card and table games, photography, watching the sunset, and whatever else you want to do! Gallows Pond is our waterfront for swimming and boating (kayaks and canoes are available!) Campers may also bring their own boats (paddle boards, kayaks, etc.) or perhaps their bicycle for those who enjoy cycling!

PROGRAM POINTS: Campers are encouraged to volunteer to lead a workshop! Workshops can be anything from teaching a craft or skill to leading a walk/hike through the woods or taking a group to an off-camp excursion like a fair or shopping. You are only limited by your imagination. If you want to organize a day trip or outing, your ideas are always welcome! Let us know and we will add the information to the welcome packet. Or, announce your idea at camp for a spur-of-the-moment outing. Remember, Women's Camp is what you make it!

CONFIRMATION EMAIL:  A confirmation email is sent to all registered campers about 4 to days before camp and includes a welcome letter, a suggested packing checklist, and a health form. Please bring your completed health form to camp. If you want confirmation of receipt of your payment and/or your registration form, please feel free to email [email protected].

*Girl Scout Registration $30
Women's Camp participants are encouraged to register as an adult Girl Scout, which costs $30 per year. We ask you to do this because Women's Camp kindly gets a discount on campsite rentals from the various Girl Scout Councils in New England, for being an organization made up of adult Girl Scouts. Therefore, we ask ALL campers to register as adult Girl Scouts. Girl Scout Membership runs from Oct 1 to Sept 30. If you are not currently a registered adult Girl Scout, please join the Girl Scouts as an adult member before Summer Camp.
