COST: Your registration fee includes sleeping accommodations and all meals. Note there is a three night minimum registration. Registration with payment is requested on or before Friday. August 16. Options:
CHECK In Opens: Wed., August 21, 2024: Check-in starting at 10:30 am. (lunch will be the first meal)
CHECK Out Closes: Mon. August 26, 2024 Check-out by 11:00 am (breakfast will be the final meal)
REGISTRATION: Registration and payment are requested by August 15. Mail registration form and payment to Women’s Camp at "Women’s Camp, Box 22, Unity Maine, 04988". [Three nights = $160, Four nights = $210; Five nights = $260].
Last minute registrations may not be accommodated.
MEALS: Camp will provide lunch and dinner on Wednesday, breakfast, lunch and dinner Thursday-Sunday and Monday morning breakfast. Contributions of fresh vegetables, snacks, desserts or communal dishes are voluntary and always appreciated! (YUM!). If you have a dietary, health or physical needs please it is requested that you advise Women's Camp via your registration form. FYI on your summer camp equipment list which is provided once you register and pay for camp, you will be asked to bring a plate, bowl, cup, mug, silverware and and a dunk bag to camp.
ACCOMMODATIONS: There are three sleeping options available to campers via your own pitched tent, sleeping inside the EDC Lodge or in the Whispering Pines Platform Tent Unit. There is access to indoor bathrooms with hot showers for all campers. Please indicate your sleeping preference on the registration form. Please also indicate the need for electricity on the registration form.
ACTIVITIES: Swimming, kayaking, arts and crafts, reading, hiking, singing, relaxing, camp fires, shopping, card and table games, watching the sunset, and whatever else you want to do! Gallows Pond is our waterfront for swimming and boating. Campers are invited to bring their own boats (canoes, kayaks, etc.) as well as bikes, for use on the nearby Cape Cod Rail Trail.
PROGRAM POINTS: Campers are encouraged to volunteer to lead a workshop! Workshops can be anything from teaching a craft or skill to leading a walk/hike through the woods or taking a group to an off camp excursion like a fair or shopping. You are only limited by your imagination. If you want to organize a day trip or outing, your ideas are always welcome! Let us know and we will add the information to the welcome packet. Or, announce your idea at camp for a spur of the moment outing. Remember, Women's Camp is what you make it!
COVID: Women's Camp continues to be aware of COVID-19. We are adhering to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (home of Camp Wind-In-The-Pines) and will continue make any changes as directed.
CONFIRMATION: A confirmation email will be sent to all campers one week before camp and will include several attachments including a letter, suggested packing list, and a health form.
*Girl Scout Registration $25
Women's Camp participants are requested to register as an adult girl scout which costs $25 per year. We ask you to do this because Women's Camp kindly gets a discount on campsite rentals, from the various Girl Scout Councils in New England, for being an organization made-up of adult girl scouts. Therefore we ask ALL campers to register as adult girl scouts. Girl Scout Membership runs from Oct 1 to Sept 30. If you are not currently a registered adult Girl Scout, please register before Summer Camp. https://mygs.girlscouts.org/

- The Whispering Pines Tent Unit has eight platform tents with cots. The Unit features a bathroom with flush toilets and showers. There is also an open air pavilion with electricity. Extension cords can be set up at the tents for anyone needing electricity for a CPAP machine.
- Indoor sleeping space is available at the EDC building. Be advised that there are no individual bedrooms. This is one very large room for all those needing indoor space and it will be the same room we will use for activities. This room has no cots, only mattresses, you are welcome to bring your own cot.
- You may pitch your own tent.
